Our Mission
I looked at the caged animals in the shelter. . . the
cast offs of human society. I saw in their eyes,
love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and
betrayal and I was angry.
"God" I said, "this is terrible. Why don't you do
something?" God was silent for a moment and
then he spoke softly. "I have done something"
he replied, "I created you."

| Our Goal |
Wet Nose Rescue works to help those who are unable
to help themselves. Our goal is to help homeless and
abandoned dogs and puppies find good, loving homes.
Dogs who would otherwise most certainly be
euthanized or subject to a life in extremely poor
conditions, unloved and neglected.
We team up with overcrowded shelters and financially
deficit facilities to assist them in locating permanent,
caring families, who will appreciate the unconditional
love a rescued dog is able to give.
We try hard to keep the adoption process simple and try
and match the right people with the right dogs. This is
our mission. Wet Nose Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit
organization staffed totally by volunteers.

| Foster Homes Needed We are always in need of families willing to be foster families for our dogs as we search for permanent homes, if you're willing to become a foster, please fill out the application on the website and e-mail it to us. We really need your help. |
A Rescuer's Prayer
Now I lay me down to rest
I pray my soul can stand this test
Of watching critters lose their homes
While owners gripe and cry and moan
I long for strength of spirit and
I pray they'll find a home again
Where they will know a loving heart
I can't do much, but it's a start
And spare me from the owner's pleas
about the baby's allergies
Or how they're moving out of state
Or spitefulness 'tween cat and mate
Please keep me sane while dealing with
the woman who bought as a gift
a wriggling tiny ball of fluff
That now is playing way too rough
Remind me I should bite my lip
When confronted with "he grew too quick"
"I didn't know he'd get so large"
"He seems to think that he's in charge"
Protect my heart when I hear them say
"I think we'll breed our dog one day"
Sometimes I think it'll break in two,
Each day brings trials harsh and new
And if I die before I wake
I pray one hopeless soul you'll take
My tears are gone, my faith is bare
Lord, please hear my rescue prayer.

| Bentley - Our Old English Bull Dogge He was found in A dumpster in Northeast, Philadelphia and thankfully someone called us. He was going to be a foster dog, be we couldn't give away this wonderful little boy and he now lives in our home with our four others. |
